We are seeking a dedicated Guesthouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our charming 4-star guesthouse. As the leader of our hospitality team, you will ensure exceptional guest experiences and efficient management of all guesthouse facilities.Please note this position is live-out.
- Guest Relations:
- Welcome guests warmly and ensure their needs are met throughout their stay.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction and respond to feedback to enhance guest experiences.
- Operations Management:
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of housekeeping, front desk, and maintenance staff.
- Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards are upheld throughout the guesthouse.
- Monitor and manage guesthouse inventory, including supplies and amenities.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, fostering a positive work environment.
- Schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities.
- Financial Management:
- Monitor and manage guesthouse budgets, expenses, and revenue streams.
- Implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts for management review.
- Marketing and Sales:
- Assist in developing marketing strategies to promote the guesthouse and attract new guests.
- Collaborate with online travel agencies, tour operators, and local businesses to increase occupancy rates and revenue.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Implement and enforce guesthouse policies and procedures.
- Proven experience as a Guesthouse Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of hospitality management software (e.g., property management systems).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Hospitality or business-related degree or certification preferred.
