Responsibilities
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails.
- Visiting potential customers for new business.
- Gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future buying trends.
- Participating in trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
- Identifying new markets and business opportunities.
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
- Recording sales and order information and sending copies to internal sales executive.
- Reviewing own performance, and adjust targets accordingly.
- Skills, Experience and General Requirements
- Able to demonstrate a good level of negotiation and communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Very good organisational skills.
- Skilled in word processing, spreadsheet and Outlook (Basic Administrative Skills)
- Attention to detail.
- Report writing
Salary: Basic Negotiable, Vehicle & Petrol Allowance
Working hours:
Mon to Thurs 08h00 to 16h30
Fri 08h00 to 14h30
Candidate Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- At least 5 years’ experience in a sales role.
- Industry related experience would be an advantage.
- Ability to research and identify prospective customers.
- Understands the sales process.
- Candidate must have commercial and business awareness.
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
- Key Performance Objectives
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
- Marketing of products.
- Analyze Customer needs, present optimal solutions and close the sale.
