Duties:
- Office Management:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Reception duties
- Handling incoming calls
- Sales and order processing:
- Manage sales processes, including counter sales
- Taking orders
- Drawing up quotations
- Marketing:
- Maintain, update and utilise marketing platforms
- Accounts Management:
- Record financial transactions
- Reconcile accounts using Pastel to generate financial statements
- Debtors:
- Invoicing
- Statements
- Collecting and allocating payments
- Age analysis
- Following up on outstanding payments
- Recons
- Credit notes
- Creditors:
- Batching supplier invoices
- Payments
- Input for staff wages
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Logistics:
- Coordinate daily product deliveries
- Customer Service:
- Address customer inquiries and handle complaints
- Reporting:
- Prepare daily and monthly reports on sales, and transport
- Budget and Expenditure:
- Record office expenses and manage the budget.
- Stock management:
- Maintain stock levels
- Assist with stock control
- Regular stock checks.
- Office administration:
- Filing
- Purchasing office supplies
- Petty cash
- Provide overall administrative support to the team

Candidate Requirements
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Relevant tertiary qualification preferred
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Must be fully computer literate, and proficient in MS Office and Pastel
- Excellent numerical skills
- Effective communication and written abilities
- Must ne customer service orientated
- Detail orientated
- Meticulous, accurate and disciplined
- Clear credit and criminal record
- Knowledge or experience in the building industry is a big advantage
- Must have contactable references
