- Review age analysis and collect all outstanding funds due to the company.
- Follow up on all queries related to late, due and self-billing invoices.
- Maintain a clean debtors book with no long overdue queries.
- Reconciling and reviewing CFT invoicing to customers and collection with feedback to Projects team for all plants on a weekly basis.
- Ensure all invoices are recorded and paid timeously.
- Develop and present new policies and procedures to the Finance Manager for implementation and streamlining of the accounts receivable and cashflow forecast processes.
- Respond timeously to internal and external customer queries.
- Compile incoming funds forecasts as required by Finance Manager.
- Provide month end and year end accounting support (age analysis and other reporting), as required.
- Ensure queries are resolved withing 48 hours and where not resolved escalate to AP/AR Supervisor or Finance Manager.
- Process all allocated customer payments accurately and timeously.
- Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Foster and maintain a positive working relationship with staff, vendors, customers, the public, internal and external to the organisation.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status weekly.
- Processing on Syspro.
- Admin and filing.
- Ad hoc duties as required.
Job Requirements:
- A relevant post graduate degree/ diploma would be advantageous.
- Three – Five years relevant experience. (Automotive experience would be advantageous)
- Excellent numerical and MS Excel (Intermediate) and reconciliation skills.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Proficiency in Syspro advantageous.
- Valid Drivers License and Own Transport essential
