Prospect Developer / Appointment Setter
A Prospect Developer is a skilled/professional telephone sales agent responsible for setting up meetings between Digital Marketing Strategists and prospective clients.
Minimum Requirements
This is a remote (work from home) position so you will need the ability, mindset, and desire to work remotely.
Education: Matric or higher.
Infrastructure: Home office space with stable, uncapped broadband internet connection.
Responsibilities
· Call prospective clients using the prospecting list provided to you.
· Acquire the necessary information about the prospect ‘s company, market, industry, and current marketing efforts to prepare a suitable telephone pitch to secure an appointment.
· Familiarizing yourself with essential details of our products and services
· Schedule appointments between the prospective clients and our Digital Marketing Strategists.
· Coordinate calendars, schedule the appointment and confirm the details with both parties.
· Follow up with prospects to remind them and confirm upcoming appointments.
· Handle rescheduling of appointments if necessary.
· Keep up to date progress notes on the CRM system.
· Contact prospective clients who you have been unable to contact.
· Contact and follow up with prospects who submitted enquiries.
· Set up 80 appointments per month.
Requirements and Skills
· Proven work experience as a telesales agent, appointment setter or similar role.
· Excellent written, verbal and telephone communication skills (English and home language).
· Outstanding listening skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent phone etiquette.
· A professional and courteous disposition.
· Persuasive and results oriented.
· Efficient time management and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Efficient time management and organizational skills.
· Proficient in scheduling and maintaining up to date calendar entries.
· Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
· Ability to learn and work on a CRM system.
· Team player that cooperates with supervisors to achieve the team goals.
· Persistence and positive attitude to complete tasks, meet and exceed targets.
· Proactive and happy to share new ideas.
· Honest, values trust relationships and integrity.
