The Company was founded by Steve Harcourt-Wood in conjunction with a number of other industry specialists. The management team within the company have all had in excess of 100 years hands on working experience within the industry and are all specialists in their fields of application.

Brief Description of Key Performance Areas:
- Developing and implementing supply chain strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This includes demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics planning.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiating contracts, ensuring the timely delivery of goods, and managing any supply chain disruptions.
- Monitoring inventory levels to ensure the right products are available at the right time. This involves setting reorder points, managing stock levels, and reducing excess inventory.
- Coordinating the transportation and storage of goods. This includes managing warehouses, selecting transportation routes, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery to retail locations or customers.
- Continuously analysing and improving supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Implementing best practices, adopting new technologies, and optimizing workflows.
- Working closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to align supply chain activities with business goals. Ensuring clear communication and coordination across the organization.
- Ensuring that all supply chain activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This includes maintaining proper documentation and adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Identifying potential risks within the supply chain and developing contingency plans to mitigate these risks. This includes managing supply chain disruptions, such as natural disasters or supplier issues.
- . Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of supply chain operations. Using data analytics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.

- Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
- Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
- Maintain supply chain inventory and records
- Train and guide employees
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
- Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
- Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts)
- Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
- Executing regular Material Requirement Planning and subsequent procurement of components while taking lead times, MOQs, EQs, obsolescence and JIT principles into consideration;
- Placing orders on vendors and ensuring they are provided with all the information they need;
- Finding solutions or alternative supply for problematic components;
- Monitoring finished goods inventory levels in various warehouses, customer sales orders and quote activity, to ensure zero out of stock conditions while managing inventory investment within reasonable levels;
- Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12 or Matric
- A B Degree/ B Tech in Supply Chain Management/ Finance or relevant qualification equivalent to NQF 7
- Post graduate qualification will be advantageous
- Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions.
- The ability to work cross functional, sales and product management.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Problem solver with good influencing skills.
- Strong planning skills.
- Self-motivated, results orientated and highly adaptable.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
