- Responsible for the daily operations, profitability and customer satisfaction
- Staff - management of all FOH and BOH staff, recruitment, training, mentoring, upskilling, disciplinary procedures, etc.
- Restaurant - oversight of the restaurant, including maintenance, housekeeping, health, safety and hygiene standards, food safety standards,
- Oversight in conjunction with head Chef of menus, specials and promotions
- Manage all compliance requirements - liquor license, health and safety, kitchen standards, etc.
- Marketing of the restaurants through various mediums - drive and develop new business
- Stock control and asset management - oversight of stock control, stock rotation, procurement, and asset management of all equipment FOH and BOH
- Guest Relations Management - ensure that all guest experience is positive, address any negative feedback or problems experienced
- Manage profitability of the establishment
- Any other duties as required by owner
- Hospitality Diploma / Certificate
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Fully computer literate - MS Office / POS systems
- 5-8 years experience within a similar role
- Own reliable transport
- MUST BE WILLING TO WORK EXTENDED HOURS
- MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT
