Mechatronic / Electrical Design Engineer

Cape Town, with the opportunity to relocate to the USA

Design company. International manufacturing. Concept and designs to improve products and Systems.Â

We are looking for Engineers who are passionate about designs and Product/ System development.

The engineer we require must have an interest to relocate to the USA in the future.

Qualification / Experience:

B. Eng or BTech in Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering
More than 2 years working experience in Electrical /Mechatronic design of equipment /parts
Ideally has a solid understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes, weld symbols, machining symbols

Responsibilities:

Medium and Heavy duty truck chassis harness design using 3D CAD and 2D schematic software.
Vehicle Electrical Systems Design, including 3D wiring design in Siemens NX, creating 2D harness drawings and schematics.
Electrical component integration.
Prepare BOM
Liaise with suppliers on designs.
