- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or similar will be beneficial
- 5+ years HR experience
- Payspace experience will be an advantage
- Able to commit for a full 5 month contract and be willing to work over the December. (Essential)
- IR (handling discipline, warnings and chairing enquiries)
- Recruitment (handling the interviews where needed)
- Employment Equity (assist with meetings and submissions)
- Basic HR admin
- Checking of the new starter packs for all employees to ensure a full pack and pass onto to payroll for input.
- Handling provident fund withdrawals.
- Doing UI 19 and salary schedules for terminated employees.
- Teaching leave and loan payments.
- Advising managers on the correct manner in which to deal with disciplinary issues. occuring in the stores.
- Assisting in preparation of necessary paperwork for labour inspections.
- Track staff birthdays for head office and record on notice board.
- Distribute long service certificates.
- Working out maternity dates and providing the relevant paperwork for employees.
- HR admin.
- Any other duties to assist where possible.
