We are looking someone to bring their professionalism and technical expertise to our clients growing team. The right person in this position will make an impact and a real difference in the success of their clients.
Location: Remote from South Africa to service (East Coast Time availability ~ 14:00 to 00:00 availability from Monday to Friday SAST)
About the Role: IT Support Specialist
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in the IT sector supporting diverse business environments is essential.
- Prior experience with IT consulting firms or Managed Services Providers, and familiarity with the ConnectWise suite of tools (such as PSA/RMM), would be highly advantageous.
Additional Desirable Skills:
- Configuration and troubleshooting expertise with Sophos Firewalls and related VPNs.
- Deployment, migration, and recovery experience with Microsoft Exchange versions 2007, 2010, and 2013.
- Advanced Macintosh support skills and familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).

- Consistent follow-up on projects and tickets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A service-oriented approach in interactions with teammates and clients.
- Ability to multitask and switch between various tasks efficiently.
- Strong time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects with differing timelines and priorities.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to undergo continuous training to stay updated on new technologies and advancements.
Candidate Requirements
Strong understanding of avaliable tools to assist in daily tasks
Ability to troubleshoot server-based software issues with:
- Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022
- Microsoft Windows Active Directory Infrastructure
- Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Services
Major Anti-Virus solution aolutions like ESET, SentinelOne, and Windows Defender
Remote Accewss tools like LogMeIn, ScreenConnect, TeamViewer, and VNC
Basic understanding of DNS, Firewalls, DHCP
Enterprise-class back-up solutions
Knowledgeable of various server/workstation peripherals such as USB/NAS drives, printers/MFPs
In-depth knowledge of workstation/server hardware and software troubleshooting abilities
Domain and workgroup environments
Knowledge and understanding of AD, DNS, IoT and mail flow
Cyber secruity knowledge and experience
Experience in supporting iOS and Andriod devices
Mac operating system is a plus
