ROLE DESCRIPTION To plan, execute and oversee all sales and promotional activities for the vehicle brand. To lead, mentor, and motivate the Sales Team to achieve or exceed sales objectives with respect to customer requirements, workflow processes, systems and related activities and ensures compliance with the company’s financial and OEM requirements. Successfully meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets. Maintain a supportive relationship with the customer, ensure that the customer’s needs and service requirements are met. Ensuring the continuous promotion of sustainable growth and profit, through the development of innovative and new solutions.

Candidate Requirements
VACANCY • SALES MANAGER - NEW VEHICLE SALES • EDENVALE DESIRED REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS • Must have Grade 12 / Matric whilst a relevant National Diploma/Degree/ Equivalent with a Business Management qualification will be an added advantage. • Preferred 5- 10 years’ experience in the motor industry especially at Dealership level, with solid experience and innerworkings of new and used vehicle sales management, the aftersales business, F&I offerings and extensive financial / business experience. • Working knowledge with the OEM at a National Level will be an advantage. • A broad understanding of the legislative framework relating to the motor industry. • A good understanding of the Socio-Economic and Political landscape at macro and micro levels. • Must be willing to travel and possess a valid driver’s license. • Excellent negotiation skills. • A good relationship and network of key stakeholders that will positively impact the business i.e customers, suppliers, etc • A good working knowledge of FICA, FAIS & CPA. • Excellent Computer Literacy (MS Office; Internet and email). • Good system knowledge of Evolve, IAL, CMS or similar Dealer Management systems. • Must be proficient in both English and a local language. • Based on the company risk assessment, this role is vaccine mandatory. • It is expected that the candidate has a clear record based on the various verification checks that will be conducted. • Although all suitable applications will be considered, it is preferred that the individual is based in the East Rand or close to the dealership.
