Our beautiful resort in Free State is looking for a Food & Beverage Manager

Responsible for: Entire F&B operations, including kitchen, restaurant front of house, bar as well as an onsite shop.

Responsibilities & Job Description:

Oversee kitchen and production of meals,

Menu planning

Stock takes

To keep cost of sales within that of property and group specifications, guest interaction

Event planning

Taking an active role in preparing of meals within the kitchen

Staff training across the entire department

Health & Safety protocols

To stand in as duty manager as and when required.

Requirements:

A cheffing background will be advantageous but not a prerequisite.
Background in Food and Beverage Management,
Strong written and spoken English,
A working knowledge of Micros operating system.
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
Ability to work in a team.
Very good communication skills
In good health
High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a Hotel School or culinary school will be an advantage.
Ability to work independently without supervision.
Out of the box thinker with an ability to envisage change and improvement across all aspects of the operations.
