We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a leading firm based in Pretoria East

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Monthly Vat reconciliations & e-filing submissions.
Liaise with SARS during VAT audits.
Monthly bond reconciliations.
Review Trial Balances monthly and prepare monthly management reports.
Calculate monthly cash flows and distribute surplus funds to owners or request funds where cash
shortfalls exist.
Liaise with business partners i.r.o. monthly management reports and cashflows.
Prepare project and ad hoc payment requests.
Invoicing of capital expenditure and collection of funds.
Quarterly dividend calculations and dividend tax returns.
Calculate and capture monthly journals.
Review monthly bank reconciliations and assist cashbook clerk to resolve unreconciled items.
Calculation of annual and provisional company income tax.
Prepare annual financial statements on Caseware.
Prepare annual audit file.
Liaise with Auditors.
Oversee company statutory related information.

QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
BCom Accounting degree.
SAIPA or SAICA Articles with a minimum of 3 years work experience in an accounting department
after articles.

OR

A minimum of 6 years working experience in an accounting department.

Computer literate: Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Caseware (non negotiable) 
MDA experience to applicant’s advantagous 

R30k - R35k pm depending on eperience and qualifications
